We use the Intra-Oral camera for early detection of dental problems to prevent any pain or discomfort. This tool allows patients to see dental problems from the same perspective as a dentist.
Digital Radiography is our everyday tool, it is much safer, due to 90% less radiation. The technology is green and does not harm the environment. It is the best diagnostic tool which allows our dentist to detect problems early in patient’s mouth.

Our Panoramic X-ray system which shows problems such as impacted teeth, bone abnormalities, cysts, tumors, infections and fractures.

The new addition to our practice is a Waterlase iPlus laser which is extremely versatile. First of all it give us a chance to provide our patients with NO SHOT, NO PAIN procedures. It can be used for a wide range of hard and soft tissue procedures. From decay removal, cavity preparation, root canals, smile design, gum and bone surgical procedures, TMJ problems and many others.

Laser

We are very proud to announced that here, in Portage Park Dental we are using laser- WaterLase! It is a great addition to our practice! Laser dentistry is a very effective way to perform many pain-free procedures with fever shots, less need for anesthesia, less use of the drill and fever numb lips. Additionally, using laser for gum procedures reduces bleeding, post-operative pain, swelling and the need for pain medication in many cases.

Laser dentists are able to remove tooth decay , bone and gum tissue precisely while leaving surrounding areas unaffected. This conserves and allows you to keep more of the healthy tooth structure.

High speed drills can cause hairline cracks and fractures in the teeth that eventually lead to future dental problems. Laser reduces damage to healthy portions of the tooth and minimizes trauma.

(S.T.A.) Single Tooth Anesthesia System

Makes the visit anxiety-free and more comfortable for you and your family. Single Tooth Anesthesia (S.T.A.) allows us to numb the tooth needing treatment without numbing your entire lip, tongue and cheek. S.T.A. is the great way to place anesthetic in the affected area. Once an antibiotic has reduced the infection dental treatment can be performed in a more comfortable and healthy setting..

Panoramic X-rays show a broad view of the jaws, teeth, sinuses, nasal area, and jaw joints. These X-rays do not find cavities. These X-rays show problems such as impacted teeth, bone abnormalities, cysts, tumors, infections, and fractures.

Intraoral camera

a pen like device that can take pictures of your teeth and gums. The intraoral camera magnifies images, helping us to spot potential problems like cracked fillings, fractures and early tooth decay. Patient can see what doctor see in your mouth, making it easier to understand your dental condition and treatment options.
